6:15-7:15pm

A quiet, slow practice that allows you to go deep into the connective tissue or fascia, and let go of tightness, places of holding or pain in the body and mind. Most Yin postures are passive by nature and can be deeply relaxing. By remaining in the postures for several minutes, we can allow mental, physical and emotional holdings to release. This ‘letting go’ frees up energy or prana for healing and allows restoration of function.  In the Yin classes we explore Five Essential inner points of reference that give a focus for the mind during the extended time spent in each asana, listening closely to the body and learn to pay attention to its somatic language. All levels are welcome...classes are one hour long.
